ABOUT DR. FENNELL
A psychologist who leads from lived experience
I'm Tiffanie, an executive leadership coach and consulting psychologist. For two decades, I worked inside medical settings as a clinical health psychologist. I didn't just study healthcare leadership from the outside. I lived it, navigated it, and watched it shape the people and teams around me every day.
That experience is what I bring to every coaching engagement. You don't have to explain the culture, the pressure, or the complexity of healthcare to me. I already understand it.

MY STORY
From clinician to coach
My path to executive coaching started in clinical work. As a board-certified health psychologist, I spent years working directly with patients in medical settings. Watching people's lives improve was deeply rewarding.
Over time, I noticed how organizational culture, leadership styles, and team dynamics were quietly affecting staff morale, productivity, and ultimately the patient experience.
I began working as an internal consultant within healthcare organizations, drawing on my psychology background to understand the human dynamics behind change. The results were meaningful, and I knew this work was where I was meant to be.
I became fascinated with leadership development and started applying that fascination from the inside out.

WHY THIS WORK
What drives me
Healthcare leaders carry an unusual burden. They're expected to lead people through high-stakes, emotionally demanding work, often with little training, minimal support, and enormous pressure form above and below.
I started Fennell Coaching & Consulting because I believe those leaders deserve better. Not generic frameworks from the corporate world, but real, grounded support that accounts for the specific culture of healthcare.
It's a privilege to facilitate others' growth as they reach their full potential. I'm also a Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington School of Medicine, and I'm completing my M.S. in Leadership and Organizational Development at UT Dallas.

HOW I WORK
My coaching and consulting philosophy

01
You don't have to explain the culture
I've worked inside medical settings for two decades. I understand the hierarchy, the pressure, and the emotional weight.
02
No scripts, no generic frameworks
Every coaching and consulting engagement is built around what's actually happening in your leadership or team right now. We don't follow a predetermined program. We work through your real challenges together.
03
Psychology informs everything
My background in clinical and counseling psychology shapes how I listen, ask questions, and help you make sense of what's happening within yourself and the people you lead.
